Comments about REI Sahara +30 Sleeping Bag - Regular:
This bag is extremely comfortable and is perfect 3-season bag. I have used this bag car camping and backpacking in the summers of Missouri as Yellowstone, Mt. Rainier, and Badlands national park in the fall. I am of average size (5'10" 165 lbs) and tend to sleep warm. I was comfortable in the bag with long underwear, long sleeve shirt, socks, and a hat at 15 F. The zipper is tricky to work without getting stuck and takes some getting used to. Also, when I first purchased the bag it tended to leak down. However, the amount of down leaked has decreased with use. This is why I can only give it 4 stars out of 5. The reason I like this bag is that it is extremely warm and comfortable for its weight and size (it can be compressed smaller then its stuff sack size). This sleeping bag is for people who like light camping gear without sacrificing comfort.

Comments about REI Sahara +30 Sleeping Bag - Regular:
I have had this bag for a few years and always used it in temps above 70 but this past weekend I was camping in northern MN and the temp at night got down to just under 30. Wearing just shorts and a t-shirt I was nice and warm. I tend to be a warm sleeper. For the price its a very nice bag.

Comments about REI Sahara +30 Sleeping Bag - Regular:
I can't believe I didn't get a down bag sooner. I am not an avid backpacker, but it packs down small when we are car camping. I like the adjustable hood and how it helps keep me warm. Can't wait to test it out in the desert.
