      These gloves are utterly useless. They are not waterproof or windproof. My hands were as cold and stiff as popsicles ten minutes into my bike riding in a 35-degree rainy day. I was actually warmer (but still cold) when I wore one pair of fleece gloves than wearing this pair inside the fleece gloves.

        I use them for biking outdoor activities and when its wet they do not keep my hands dry. The seams leak and get soaked. Are good for blocking wind.

              The gloves fit snug ... almost too snug. I put them on as my fingers began to get cold and the gloves never warmed my fingers. So, I thought of putting them on before my fingers got cold (thinking that the already cold fingers was what was working against me). This didn't work either ... my fingers were still frozen. I used the gloves while climbing Mt. Kenya. The temps weren't below freezing during the climb, but the way my fingers felt ... one might think I was in sub-zero temperatures. Not a good purchase ... I returned the gloves yesterday. Hurray for REI's return policy.

              I just moved to a cold climate and was really hoping these gloves would work out. I am really disappointed. There is no difference in wearing these gloves or going without.

                These are the worst gloves i have ever used in my life. They do not keep hands dry,or warm. The seam on the inside of the glove drives into my fingers and is actually painful at the end of the day. I work outside 16-20hrs a day, expecting to be kept dry and warm by my equipment, especially when it said to be weather proof and waterproof and breathable. Im am very unhappy with these gloves and will be returning them as soon as i get back into town.
