The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Bertucci A-2T Titanium Nylon Watch:
I bought this watch for my husband as a gift less than 9 months ago. He was looking for a casual but classy-looking watch that he could wear with either hospital scrubs or a dress shirt and slacks, and this fit the bill style and function wise. The watch is advertised as "rugged enough to use outdoors," but if his tame, indoor use of it is anything to go by, this would fall apart just looking at a icy mountain stream or jagged cliff face. Others have noted that the black paint on some of the strap's metal parts scratches/wears off easily, and I can confirm that. Alone, that's something I could get over. But after about 6 months of frequent use, the metal grommets that line the holes in the watchband started to fall out! Cheap! About a week ago, husband wore it into the water for the first time since having it (a shallow pool - not talking deep-sea diving, here), and there's now water condensation on the inside of the watch-face. So much for being "rugged." Honestly, I wish I had purchased the $30 Timex that looked similar; I just wanted to get him something quality that would last, and figured that a more expensive watch would guarantee that. Clearly, mistake no. 1. I'm going to try to take this back to the REI store where I bought it for a refund (they have a 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed policy), and I'll update with my results.

Comments about Bertucci A-2T Titanium Nylon Watch:
I purchased this watch due to the seemingly sturdy construction. I wanted a watch that I didn;t have to take off to exercise, while I was working, climbing etc. The band and the case will hold up to what ever you throw at it but after a year of trying to get this thing to work for me I have given in and distroyed it. The pin? that you pull out to change the time and or date will come out of the watch if you are not really, really careful and sometimes still does. It is NOT reliable, period. I have missed appts, ran late, it is worthless.

Comments about Bertucci A-2T Titanium Nylon Watch:
My wife bought this watch, but didn't wear it too much. I started using it and the second hand fell off. It still worked for a couple weeks, but then the second hand jammed between the other hands so the watch is dead. I liked the weight and the strap, but seems like the mechanics are poorly made.

Comments about Bertucci A-2T Titanium Nylon Watch:
I work as a firefighter so watches get destroyed regularly with me. I got this a year ago and it is awesome. Light, durable, great retention on illumination, scratch resistant. The only con is that the strap end is sewn over into a point. The end would always stick out and get in the way. I put up with this for about six months then one day I cut it off and heat sealed the nylon strap. I would recommend this alteration when you take it out of the box. If you like heavy bulky big watches (G-Shock) then don't buy, but if u like a normal size watch that is incredibly light and durable get this one.

Comments about Bertucci A-2T Titanium Nylon Watch:
This is an awesome watch! Not sure about the other comments claiming easily scratched etc. as that hasn't been my experience. It is very rugged, and after 10 months of frequent wear, I have yet to put a gouge or scratch on it. I do agree that the buckle paint will wear off, mine has on the edges, but it's a field watch after all, call it adding character.
I just got back from Mexico and wore the watch in the pool and several times snorkeling in the ocean and it performed beautifully.
The other amazing thing is that the illumination of the hour and minute hands will stay illuminated all night long in the dark, better than any other watch I have ever owned! I really like this watch.

Comments about Bertucci A-2T Titanium Nylon Watch:
After my last watch failed, I waited a while to purchase another watch so I could find the perfect watch. I liked the look of this watch and bought it. So far, it has performed well-always accurate and looks nice. I wear it inside and out, all of the time. All positive, no negative comments about this watch.

Comments about Bertucci A-2T Titanium Nylon Watch:
I have owned this watch over a year, but have worn it only occasionally, mainly while fly fishing. My model came with the one piece leather strap, an interesting idea with poor execution. Perhaps having a one piece band increases durability, but it also adds bulkiness to an already bulky fitting product. Also, the quality of leather is very poor, as mine broke after probably a few months worth of normal wear. I was not rough at all on it. I'm curious to find out whether REI will take it back after so long, though I'd probably be satisfied with a new band....

Simple straight forward watch, love the look, little smaller than I normally wear (42-44mm). Used on a recent trip to alaska and ended up wearing every day of the trip vs my Sunto.

Comments about Bertucci A-2T Titanium Nylon Watch:
I was looking for something stylish, functional, and simple and I suppose this watch offers that.
However after only wearing it for 6 hours (literally) the black finish already began to chip on the band.
This is unacceptable. I did not wait around to see what else would eventually fail or degrade so I returned it immediately.
I can only imagine what this thing would look like if I were to actually treat it like a "field" watch.

Comments about Bertucci A-2T Titanium Nylon Watch:
I really wanted to like this watch. I appreciate its simple design and light weight, and was optimistic about the durability of the titanium watch head.
In my opinion, Bertucci's quality control at present leaves a lot to be desired.
I received my watch as a Christmas gift. It was a little scratched up right out of the box so I looked at 7 more of the same watch at REI.
All of them either had a cosmetic issue such as a noticeable scratch or uneven machining, or they had a problem with the second hand where it did not line up accurately with the second marks on the dial as it ticked around. Several had both of these issues.
I ended up keeping my original watch which was the least scratched and most evenly machined, and also didn't have the second hand issue.
If you care about these sorts of issues and decide to purchase this watch, I highly recommend that you buy it in person rather than sight unseen.
Unfortunately, in just over a month, this watch is now far more battered looking than a stainless steel watch I've worn daily for several years. I wouldn't characterize myself as hard on watches. I've worn this watch mainly to the office when I'm dressed casually or on weekends.
I found that while the titanium doesn't really scratch easily (i.e. it seems fairly abrasion resistant), it does gouge and dent rather easily (i.e. it appears to be rather soft).
Overall, I'm disappointed, and debating whether to return it for a refund. But I can say, I would really like this watch if it was more resistant to wear.
