I purchased this watch as my weekend/garage/yard work watch. The reviews said it was durable and for the first few months it was. I'm not rough on the watch at all, only minor wood working and yard work along with doing the dishes. Water started to get trapped under the lens so I returned it for a Casio g-shock. I loved the classic looks and basic function of the watch. Just wish it could hanlde a little water!

This is a serious, rugged watch at a very reasonable price. Made from titanium (not plastic) with a mineral glass (not plastic) crystal, it's reliable, accurate, and should last a long time. (I only had to buy this one because I dropped my old Bertucci in Boston Harbor.) I have much more expensive watches, but I wear this one when I know my watch will get battered or dirty.
Highly recommended at this price level.

I've owned this watch for about a year now. When I first got it, it lost time for about a week, about 5 or 10 minutes a day. Just recently it stopped all together for about 2 hours then started up again. I can forgive a lot of things in a watch, not keeping time is not one of them.

I bought this watch to replace a Timex that had lasted me 10 years before the date function and glass finally bit the dust. I like this watch better. Does not have indiglo, but the hands do stay illuminated through the night, which is good enough for me. Actually I like this better than indiglo, because my feeling is that the battery may very well last longer. It sits close to my wrist, so it doesn't get snagged on shirts/coats/jackets. It has been keeping time accurately, and is only fast by about a second every week. I have swam and snorkeled with it multiple times, and no water has made it in. Overall I believe it will last me for many years.

I am a regular backpacker, kayaker, and outdoor adventurer. The watch does it all. No fancy functions, just time/date, but brilliantly executed. I am also an architect and the design and construction of this Bertucci is impeccable. Rugged and lightweight, the Bertucci A2-T is a subtle modern classic. Nothing more, nothing less... The perfect timepiece? Maybe!

It may not be fancy, but it's small enough to look good on a 5'4" woman, and durable enough for just about anything you would want to do with it. Mine lived on my wrist for eight months straight at two field stations. It's been camping, hiking, snorkeling, and surfing. The watch itself looks like the day I bought it. My only complaint is the band it comes with is difficult to clean and got kind of grody, but I'm so happy with the watch I don't even care.

I have worn this watch every day for a year now. Yes, the painted buckle shows the wear, the paint is coming off. This doesn't bother me at all. I was a little hesitant to buy a watch with a nylon band, but it is very comfortable and handles a sweaty wrist very well. After a year of hard use in all kinds of work and play conditions the titanium case and crystal show no scratches at all. Its light weight and looks good. Tells me the time and the date, what else do I need a watch to do out in the field?

I have worn this watch everyday for the last three months. Before that I hadn't worn a watch for the last 10 years. I am very hard on watches. By now I would have scratched or broken the crystals of other watches. This one looks as nice today as it did when I first took it out of its box.
Style is subjective but I really like the classic look of the white face and easy to read numerals. I was not so sure I would like being without battery powered illumination but now I am glad I didn't get it. The glow in the dark hands are the nicest I've seen, they're very easy to read even after 9 to 10 hours.
As for the person who had a problem with water getting into the case, I did notice once that I hadn't screwed the crown down tight enough and it had loosened up a bit. Enough to let water in. So, despite the admonishments in the instruction to not over tighten the crown, I gave it a little extra twist and haven't had a problem since.
The Bertucci is certainly as accurate as I need it to be; it only gained about a second a month. For the price I couldn't be happier!
