Let me say this first...My son is the pickiest kid ever about socks. This is the first pair that has been consistently comfortable for him and he refuses to wear any other. He wears them for soccer, to school, every day! I am so thankful that I do not have to argue about socks anymore. They are worth the price for me.

My wife wears child's socks. She tried REI's wool socks because they were less expensive than her usual brand but she was very disappointed. They're bunchy, too heavy, and were wet (not damp) after only 30 minutes on the treadmill. Very surprised because REI usually creates great products.
