The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Slime Lite Presta Tube - 700 x 19 - 25:
I ride everywhere I can so I needed a tire that won't get flats. Before purchasing these tubes I went into REI and they recommended these tubes, a day later I get a puncture in the back tire. No worries, just bad luck. A week later I get a flat in the front. The front tire had a patch on the side where it was cut so the tube probably got pinched. I went in to REI and bought a Gatorskin for the front and this tube AGAIN. The morning after my first ride, I noticed it had gone flat from a punture on the top of the tube with no apparent puncture/something stuck in the tire. The tube puncture was less than 1/8 inch I've walked my bike further with these tubes than I've ridden on them.

I got a goat's head thorn stuck in my back tire, on the tread where the slime's supposed to be the most effective. Pulled the thorn out, inflated the tire with my hand pump and rode the bike a bit to make sure the slime covered the hole. I made it about a mile before I had to re-inflate the tire again. Thankfully, I wasn't far from home. Next time, I'm going to save myself some money and just carry a spare tube. This product is worthless. It doesn't seal leaks; it just slows them down some.

I tried this product for the first time. After 4.5 miles on very smooth roads the tube ruptured at the inside seam! No puncture or debris - it just came apart! Yes, I had it properly installed and inflated. To make matters worse it got the green sealant all over my wheel when I changed the tire.
Probably the worst bike product I have EVER used.

Bought the slime lites for winter riding with my road bike and a pair of regular slime for my hybrid. Purpose was to minimize tube changes due to flats in inclement winter weather. No flats during winter. Rode recently with road bike and flatted within 6 miles of start. No sign of puncture in tire. Had to inflate tire 5 times to get home. Removed tube expecting to find tire filled with the green slime. Nothing. Removed tube and inflated. No sign of old punctures that sealed. Found leak. Took three tries manipulating the tube to get the slime to seal the small pin hole. It holds now. Will I trust it? No.

I've used this product with multiple wheel and tire combinations. The slime doesn't mean you won't get a flat. It does as promised and seals small leaks. You will need to add a little air and be back on your way. The times this has not worked for me are when the tire damage has been so bad that I've needed to replace the tire as well.
Couple of cons:
-Sometimes the slime seals up the valve a bit, making it difficult to unscrew the presta valve.
-They are not as light as ultra light cycling tubes. Thats the trade off for less tube changes.
I have not seen the reported issues with valves breaking with the slime tubes. I have however had my share of breaking presta valves in general. Especially with hand pumps.
Also when inflating the tire, follow the directions and inflate with the valve roughly at the 10 or 2 o'clock position. This will provide the least amount of slime leakage saving it for when you need it.

I paid extra for this tube for it's advertised qualities of supposedly self sealing. Was riding last night and hit a sunken section in the sidewalk, which probably pinched the tube. Got home 2 blocks later and the tire was flat. Removed the tube and found the leak... but NO sign of any green slime. I could easily fix this, but I have some spare tubes, so am tossing it. My time isn't worth the $5 it cost to get a new tube, definitely not another slime lite. I am lucky I was so close to home when I got the flat, because this tube isn't going to save you.

One new tube punctured multiple times when being mounted on a 700c rim with a plastic tire lever; the second punctured after 45 min riding on a paved highway. Neither self-sealed effectively; both had to be replaced with standard tubes.

This is one of the worst products that Ive ever used. The valve stem actually came off when I filled the tube with air. It was great for about 10 minutes

This has to be one of the worst things I have ever used. I went to pump the tube up and the valve stem ripped completely off. It has now left me without a bike until I can replace the tube. Bottom line is that this thing [*]and I wouldn't recommend it to my enemies.

Baught this product twice. Both times the tube flated out on me within two miles of my ride due to a faulty seam. The tube seems to be of poor quality and the slime is very thin and runny and patching is difficult due to this.
