Comments about Leatherman Charge Titanium TTi Multitool:
The gizmo aside, which is fine so far, Leatherman products come in these blister packages that are very difficult and dangerous to open. It takes a strong and sharp blade and a significant amount of force to do it and while you're trying not to cut or otherwise damage what's inside, you risk cutting yourself. Of course this Leatherman has a tool inside for this purpose, but that doesn't do much good in getting it out.

Comments about Leatherman Charge Titanium TTi Multitool:
I live by and go to the beach daily and the moist, salty air takes a toll on everything quick if not maintained properly. The quality and type of steels here in this "tool" (what we called them in the Marines) are more corrosion resistant than most and that's what got my attention. It's my EDC tool and I use it as such. Worth the price if and should be only one you would ever need.

Comments about Leatherman Charge Titanium TTi Multitool:
Def worth the extra coin for this upgrade. I like the fact that this model has the locking blades (blades "lock" in the open position). This ia great safety feature. The blades are super sharp and so far seem like they will keep an edge. The pliers are not spring loaded on this model which I thought would not like, but now that I have used it I actually like them this way better. Great buy!

Comments about Leatherman Charge Titanium TTi Multitool:
After recently spending a year travelling abroad, I can't even begin to count the number of times this multitool saved the day. I would never have guessed how often I would find myself reaching for the trusty leatherman, but it's now a permanent addition to my belt.
With excellent durability and craftsmanship, even cleaning is a breeze. I found it easiest to boil it in water, detail with a toothbrush, if necessary, then a light coat of wd-40 and it's good to go.
I would, and do, recommend this to anyone in the market for a top quality multitool.

Comments about Leatherman Charge Titanium TTi Multitool:
I work on a farm and use this tool multiple times everyday. Its really taken a beating but you'd never know it by looking at it. When not farming I backpack and this badboy never leaves my belt. It's a little heavy and bulky I know, but it's built too last forever. I'd never walkout the door without it.

Comments about Leatherman Charge Titanium TTi Multitool:
The titanium is only the starter upgrade...
The S30V blade makes this Leatherman a serious tool, as well as the brass bushings that create a smooth function for each tool independently. I lost a Surge, replaced it with a Wave...returned it and tried the Charge tti... and am a believer. This is the best multitool I've ever owed. It costs more, not because of the titanium, but because of the S30V blade and the brass bushings. These metals make the real difference, the real value, and are worth every dollar invested!

Comments about Leatherman Charge Titanium TTi Multitool:
The Leatherman TTi is a strong, well-made piece of equipment that has already been very useful for me. Anyone could find plenty of uses for a multi-tool whether they are outdoors or indoors. All of the tools are very functional, although i would have like some sort or awl or 'hole-poker'. I'm not sure if the titanium actually gives much of a weight reduction compared to other metals given that all of the tools and the mechanism are still steel. But the titanium does feel good in the hand which makes it easy to grip onto for even the toughest of tasks.
The blades are exceptionally sharp and, I believe, that they are made from Leatherman's top graded steel.
I expect to use this tool often on a one month camping tour of several national parks.
REI posted a really good price on this multi-tool as some places are charging a much more for this wonderful tool.
