          This seems like a great boot except, for me, there is a LOT of movement in the heel (a common problem for women) and they actually rub the tops of some of toes, which I have never had happen in skiing or hiking boots. Two pairs of socks didn't seem to help as much as I had hoped. I'll keep experimenting with socks and hope to break them in. I bought them at the end of the season in March but only used them starting in November. Obviously, the fit will vary with every person. They felt fine when I tried them on. I had to give them a decent work out to know the fit. Interestingly, the x-country ski center near Davis, WV uses these for some of their rentals, so if you are close to there, you can give the boots a real try.

            I recently converted from 3-pin leathers to the NNN bindings with these boots. I have no idea what I was waiting for. These are fantastic - my ankles are well supported, my feet are never cold and I'm getting more control out of my skis than I ever did with the traditional 3-pins.

            These boots don't give your foot much support. They are also very hard to get tight. They do keep your feet dry and warm though.

              Ouch! Bend of boot during the kick motion comes right on the top of toes and they hurt for hours after use. Boot needs a major redesign. Other reviews have validated the same concern. I sent the boots back for a refund.

                These are great for light backcountry touring. Not supportive enough to carve big turns. Too heavy-duty for groomed resorts. Good fit.

                  I cross country ski about 3 times a week on groomed trails, on lakes, and backcountry. These boots have great support and never seem to look worn. When really cold out, I wear gaiters to keep my feet warmer.
