Comments about Garmont Megaride Randonee Boots - Men's:
Use the boot for a lot of race support, standing for long periods, inside/outside, hiking, very cold conditions. Very comfortable. Also can bomb the lift served on mid-fats with confidence. BC is of course where they shine. Warm and dry, can wear them all day.

Comments about Garmont Megaride Randonee Boots - Men's:
My first pair of AT boots so I don't have much to compare to but I have put a fair bit of miles on them and I can't think of anything I would change. I used them this previous summer with a split board across the Juneau Icefield and but nearly 300 miles on them. They toured amazingly, no blisters, comfortable, and they kept my foot cozy and dry all along. On the descents I only used walk mode in order to maintain flex with the board, finally I hiked nearly 17 miles in them over moraines off the glaciers and they worked better than most hiking boots i've owned.

Comments about Garmont Megaride Randonee Boots - Men's:
Boot fully met expectation for aggressive backcountry and powder tree skiing plus works great for downhill with bumps as secondary purpose. I have seperate skis for each. With my foots high arch, it is easier to put on the liner out side of the boot then step in and latch up.Slickest part is easy of walking and hiking with aggressive sole up in the rocks. Comments about Garmont Megaride Randonee Boots - Men's:
These boots are a great compromise between weight and performance, they are light, but stiff enough to direct fat skis down a hill with a good deal of control. The boots are also quite comfortable to hike in and are built to a good quality standard.
