RossiTop construction wraps the top and sides in a seamless cap for increased durability

Comments about Rossignol BC 65 Positrack Backcountry Skis:
The Rossi BC 65s have proven to be excellent skis for those fresh track ski days in the woods - either off-piste (logging roads, forest tracks etc) or combo on/off piste. Their torsional stiffness give good edging and so support those tentative snowplow turns at the tops of unknown downhill runs. At the same time, they glide well if you're on piste and still fit into conventional groomed trails. SMALL downside - their surfaces and top edges are easily scared by their metal edges during falls or rough handling. We had to fill in some top edge scars after a trip to avoid water damage. Not something I've experienced with my D/H or tele skis. Overall they have brought me a new level of fun for the more friendly, less extreme, "backwood" skiing. You won't see any skate-skiers where these guys will take you ! :)
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
