The Rossignol BC 65 Positrack skis are designed for those wanting lightweight backcountry skis that can reliably take them from point A, to a distant point B!

  • Designed for off-trail backcountry use, but will track nicely on-trail as well (for those spending about 70% of their time off-trail and 30% on-trail)
  • RossiTop construction wraps the top and sides in a seamless cap for increased durability
  • Wood with air channel core construction creates structural spines, adding torsional rigidity while reducing weight
  • AR waxless base features cut-in patterns that prevent backsliding and offer the best combination of kick-and-glide

Enjoying BC 65s

    Comments about Rossignol BC 65 AR Backcountry Skis:

    The Rossi BC 65s have proven to be excellent skis for those fresh track ski days in the woods - either off-piste (logging roads, forest tracks etc) or combo on/off piste. Their torsional stiffness give good edging and so support those tentative snowplow turns at the tops of unknown downhill runs. At the same time, they glide well if you're on piste and still fit into conventional groomed trails.
    SMALL downside - their surfaces and top edges are easily scared by their metal edges during falls or rough handling. We had to fill in some top edge scars after a trip to avoid water damage. Not something I've experienced with my D/H or tele skis.
    Overall they have brought me a new level of fun for the more friendly, less extreme, "backwood" skiing. You won't see any skate-skiers where these guys will take you ! :)

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
