Comments about Manzella Ranch Hand Gloves:
Bought these gloves to use for Ice Climbing. Poor choice!!! They are NOT waterproof and once they get wet, they stay wet. The inside of the glove takes forever to dry out. I was able to use them for one day before the liner was soaked and no longer kept my hands warm. I have had them sitting out for four days and they are still wet.
I think they are a good glove for normal use that would not get them wet. They were very warm when they were dry. I would not recommend them for heavy outdoor use for snow sports.
Good thing I brought spare gloves!!!!

Comments about Manzella Ranch Hand Gloves:
I've had one other pair of Manzella gloves, liked those. These, I want my [$] back. Very unhappy with the winter performance for a midweight glove, I'd expect not to have cold fingers in the 30 degree temps, near zero, I might as well just go w/o gloves.

Comments about Manzella Ranch Hand Gloves:
The weight, look and fit were excellent. I returned my pair for a full refund after only two uses. I used the gloves during active outdoor activties and found it difficult to easily remove the gloves with the inner lining staying put. Getting the liner back in properly took more time than they are worth. Nice glove if your hands never sweat.

Comments about Manzella Ranch Hand Gloves:
[...] I paid [$] for the gloves and have been happier with gloves that only cost $5. I bought the gloves 2 months ago and they already have holes in them. However, the most frustrating part is the lining comes out of the glove every time I take them off. Getting the lining back in is next to impossible and takes about 15mins. Not to mention they take forever to dry unless you put them in with a load of laundry. Do not waste your money on this product.

Comments about Manzella Ranch Hand Gloves:
Liner is a bummer. I bought these for cycling because they are waterproof and have soft, gripping palms. However, if you remove a glove for any reason (like adjusting a zipper, blowing you nose), good look putting it back on quickly. As mentioned by others, the lining pulls out and it takes some work to get the gloves back on. Also, it does not breathe well and takes a while to dry. Bummer.

Comments about Manzella Ranch Hand Gloves:
The loose lining in these gloves is very frustrating. As mentioned in other reviews, the lining pulls out of the fingers as you remove the glove and then remains bunched up inside and at the entrance to the fingers as you put the gloves back on later. Often, the lining for one finger will twist and you are prevented from pushing that finger all the way into the glove which also keeps your hand from pushing all the way into the glove.
There is also little or no tactile feel with these gloves as the external glove material, especially in the fingers, is stitched wider to accommodate the lining and is stitched to a point at the end of each finger. The ends of fingers are rounded, not pointed, so there is no way that your finger reaches the end of the glove finger - at least not with the size I purchased that fit the other areas of my hand just fine.
I wanted to like this design, but after a couple weeks of use, and finding that it is not only difficult to put on but is also not very breathable (my hands get sweaty while driving in a cold car), I'm ready to return them.

Comments about Manzella Ranch Hand Gloves:
Gloves work well for working outside in cold weather, e.g. shoveling snow, raking leaves. As other reviewers noted, however, the lining is poorly designed. It comes out easily when you withdraw your hand, and reinserting your hand (especially when wet/sweaty) can be extremely difficult.

Comments about Manzella Ranch Hand Gloves:
This is one of the best looking gloves out on the market. I used it in cold, wet weather and it performed very well. That is until I had to put it on again after taking them off to shoot some pictures. The inner liner pulled out of the fingers and just never felt right putting it back on, besides the fact that it took way too long to get on with wiggling fingers. I returned them for this reason.

Comments about Manzella Ranch Hand Gloves:
I bought these for bike commuting in New England fall and spring. In the actual winter I switch to a polarfleece mitten (and an overshell for particularly cold days). These gloves, once wet inside, stay wet inside unless you turn them inside out to let them air out.
The gloves are quite durable, with leather, and neoprene, and they do an excellent job of stopping the wind and keeping your fingers warm. However, it's gross to put them back on for your evening ride home to discover that they're still sweaty from the morning ride. I think there is SOME wicking going on, but your reaction when you first put them on is one of revulsion.
I've taken to turning the lining backwards after every use, but I worry this will make the lining wear out faster than it would otherwise. My quest continues for the ideal fall / spring bike commuting gloves.

Comments about Manzella Ranch Hand Gloves:
Ok, ill start by saying that i am almost always camping and outside and I live in Portland, OR, where it rains almost every day. I looked over many gloves at the REI store and these were really what caught my eye as the best quality gloves that they had on hand.
They are very durable gloves that should last a long time, and they do a good job resisting wind and water and are very warm gloves. They arent the warmest gloves you can find, but if you are in 20+ weather youll be fine with these. They have a strong grip, are part leather, and are good work gloves. If youre outside doing some work, these gloves will last, will give you comfort, and will keep you warm.
They look techy and once theyre on are very comfortable and snug.
My beef with these gloves is that they are a bit too bulky and there is not much feel to these gloves. With them on it makes it hard to do delicate tasks like unzipping something. They are not bulky to the point that they are puffy, but they are a little bulky.
My other main gripe and one that Ive struggled with for years with gloves, is that when you take them off, the inner lining slips and falls out of the fingers. When you try to put them back on it is hard to get them on because the lining needs to be forced back up into the fingers. Im sure anyone thats worn gloves knows how frustrating the lining issue is.
So all in all these are beautiful well-made gloves that look aesthetically pleasing. They are cool gloves that are a bit sexy, actually. You will look good in these gloves if you are in a city like Chicago or something.
Were it not for the lining issue and a little bulkiness, these would get 5 stars.
