The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about SKS Mud-X Dirtboard:
Tried to use as a cheap front fender for winter commuting and it worked great in snow. However, when it was slushy or wet the water would drip right off of the fender and onto my shoes. Since Then I have bought full fenders and I stay completely dry no matter what the weather.

Comments about SKS Mud-X Dirtboard:
Even though it's quick on/off, I leave it on the bike through the rainy season since it provides such great protection for the weight. I use it through rough terrain on a full suspension bike, through thick mud, puddles and streams. It attaches pretty quickly using two elasticized straps. Once I figured out the 'perfect' placement (I have a few cables running under the tube where it attaches), it worked great. You might need to place it up/down the tube a bit in relationship to your crank/toes for clearance. If I could have only one fender, I'd use this one. It provides good protection against thick mud and splashes, stays put and is surprisingly sturdy given it's light weight and flexibility. I do however, use it in combination with the SKS front and SKS Shockblade Rear Fenders.I'm not sure if, as other reviewers have mentioned, it gets my shoes wet or not (I go through some pretty knarly puddles and they were always wet before I used this), but my bike and I otherwise are pretty well protected from most mud/splahes.

Comments about SKS Mud-X Dirtboard:
Protects the chain ring from the grit and grime thrown back from the front wheel. Should be standard equipement on mountain bikes.
