Comments about Pearl Izumi Cyclone Gloves - Men's:
The description states that these gloves are "excellent... in all but the most harsh winter conditions", but I did not find them capable in "light" winter conditions. My fingers were freezing after a 30 minute commute in the 40s with 10+ MPH winds, which I wouldn't classify as "harsh." The padding is great, but the cuffs are rather tight for squeezing in a sleeve to create a seal. Perhaps these would work well if bought in a larger size and paired with glove liners, but I did not try this. I acted on an [...] recommendation and picked up the Manzella Ranch Hand Gloves, which have worked great so far (into the 30s). They are the same price as the Cyclones and more versatile.

Comments about Pearl Izumi Cyclone Gloves - Men's:
Not a winter riding glove at all, would be a great spring glove. They advertise that it is windproof and will preform well in all but harsh winter weather. The wind cut through these gloves this morning at 27 degrees, I don't consider that anywhere near harsh. The gloves have excellent padding and look real cool but definitely not windproof or waterproof.

Comments about Pearl Izumi Cyclone Gloves - Men's:
I bought these gloves to be water proof and wind resistant for winter in Oregon. They are NOT water-proof! The underside of the glove absorbes water like a sponge, then your fingers get cold because they are wet. I do not use them in the rain.

Comments about Pearl Izumi Cyclone Gloves - Men's:
I bought these gloves long before reading the other review that I have seen. I am hoping that person was not describing the same gloves since they mentioned they were great for summer. These were marketed as cold weather gloves, which I had doubts about since they feel thin but they have kept me warm in weather that has been down to freezing. I wear them anytime the temp is less than about 50 and they feel great. I chose these over similar products because they just felt nicer. They don't feel odd when switching gears or using the brakes on my bike and so far have held up well. I'm hoping that if I do find a durability issue with these that I will be able to edit my review or add a new one. For now though, these have been fantastic.

Comments about Pearl Izumi Cyclone Gloves - Men's:
I've been riding for 30+ years and have owned many gloves. These gloves just fell apart in no time. It's sad because they fit great and are comfortable and warm enough. But the synthetic fabric has disintegrated in the fingers and palms of both gloves. I wish Pearl Izumi would have used leather because the gloves would have still been going strong.

For the first month or so these gloves worked fine. Then the cover of the padding started to come off from where it was glued onto the glove. The gel padding itself was intact, but I eventually tore off the hanging piece of gel pad cover.

These are a fall glove that I use for cold weather cycling in above freezing weather. They fit well and look good to wear. The issue I discovered with the glove is that it doesn't breath well leaving me with moist hands. I couldn't recommend this glove for long distance riding.

I use this glove in 30 degree to 40 degree weather. I can grip my hoods really well..Some air hits your hand due to the glove but that's due to the AmFib-Blo2ck.

Comments about Pearl Izumi Cyclone Gloves - Men's:
I purchased these for cold weather biking while communiting and regreated my decision less than a mile into my first ride. It was probably 30 degrees for so and my fingers were literally in pain in less than a mile. I think this would be a great fall glove (down to about 35-40 degress), but for sure not a winter glove.
