  • Soft, flexible nubuck leather and air mesh uppers are waterproof and provide support and durability for rugged trail use
  • Extra-breathable Gore-Tex XCR® liners are seam sealed to stop water leakage while allowing warm moisture vapor to escape
  • Removable, dual-density EVA footbeds add cushioning to lightweight, compression-molded EVA midsoles
  • Molded EVA midsoles deliver ample cushion for long day hikes
  • Integrated Flexframe thermoplastic urethane (TPU) midsole support plate controls flex, provides support and protects from uneven terrain
  • Durable, high-traction Vibram® Contact outsoles supply superb control on all types of surfaces

      Upon my first day hike in my Vasque hiking shoes, I instantly fell in love with them. Their waterproof material does make for a warm feet sensation- but that didn't hinder me a bit. Their design leads the wearer to take a comfortable yet quick-paced, athletic stride. I adore these boots!

          Perhaps the best shoes I've ever had. I have a hard time fitting in shoes comfortably. These are the exception. I have had them for several years ... and they have never let me down. They live with me in the cool and wet Pacific Northwest U.S. and they've been to hot and dry East Africa and Mexico deserts where I do wildlife research. My feet stay warm and dry in winter and they breathe in the heat. I never write reviews - this is my first - but I'm buying a second pair just so I have them and want to give credit where its do. The price is not steep considering the quality and longevity of the shoe.
