      Easy to put on over boots with full side zips. Waterproof and light weight important for hiking and these fit the bill perfectly. Sized a bit large in length as I normally wear a 32 inseam, but got the short style after trying them on in the store. Length just right at top of boot arch so as not to drag in the dirt/mud, yet still cover leg great.

        Well my first experience with these was on the AT w/ nothing but constant rain (40 deg weather). They kept me dry, breathed well and stood up to a lot of branches after the trail was washed out through a mud-slide. There were no problems with leaks around the zippers. The only problem is they seem to size a little large- may just be a personnel frame issue though.

          The pants are terrific. I tried them while snowshoeing in Rocky Mountain National Park and I loved them at once. They are very light so I can take them anytime and this was not the case with my old pants. Recently I bought the second pair for my wife. Highly recommended.

            Great value -- the rain pants that got me through rainy days on many hikes. The waterproofing is good and easily restored if the pants get muddy and must be tossed in the washer. The full-zip legs make them easy-on, easy-off. No cons.
