Comments about Mountain Hardwear Sarafin Sweater - Women's:
I got this sweater last year and loved it. Its only down fall is that it pills heavily where it is rubbed (ie elbows etc.) It has been relegated to yardwork and lounging around the house after wearing it on a backpack trip and getting extensive pilling and wear patterns across the chest area. No way to make it look presentable again.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Sarafin Sweater - Women's:
I LOVE this sweater. I am a stay @ home mom of 2 and this totally works for me. I bought the blue color and it the thumb holes are right up my alley. I walk the dogs, walk to the bus stop, shop, eat, breathe and almost sleep in this sweater. I used to dress GAP/JCREW (sale items) but hated the fact that the sweaters from those stores would be out of style or not wear/wash well but THIS sweater, I BELIEVE, is worth the money and will stand the test of time.

I bought this sweater in green and loved it so much that I went back and bought another in purple. The colors are great. I wear it at home and around town as it's warm and cozy.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Sarafin Sweater - Women's:
I just ordered the hay color. From the name and the picture on screen I was expecting a cream/yellow colored sweater. IT IS CELERY GREEN!!! It also has a faded look to it. I am going to check the other colors in store to see what they really look like and if they are also faded.
The sweater is cozy and I could see myself wearing it a lot. Just beware of the color.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Sarafin Sweater - Women's:
I can't wear most wool because of the itch factor. My favorite thing about this sweater is that while the outside is itchy-ish (not bad), the inside is felted or smoothed so that it does not itch, even up against my neck. My one con for this sweater is that the thumbholes are on the seam, which means they are positioned on the outside of the sleeve, and the sleeve must be twisted to use the thumbhole. But, the tall collar and the thumbholes make this a warm sweater to wear, especially when you spend all day typing on a computer.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Sarafin Sweater - Women's:
I like this sweater a lot because it is warm yet lightweight. Also, it fits nicely - a flattering length (not too long, not too short), and it is loose around the mid section without feeling like it is a maternity top.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Sarafin Sweater - Women's:
I was leery about this sweater once I saw the thumbholes, but after an unexpectedly cold weekend camping on the coast, I realized how convenient they are! When I don't want them to show, they are easily masked, making this sweater extremely versatile, attractive, and warm!

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Sarafin Sweater - Women's:
Very light, line dries quickly. Warm but breathable, formfitting but loose enough to wear with a base layer.
I wasn't sure about the size at first, but opted to go with a small. I've been happy with the decision, since there has been zero shrinkage so far (cold wash, delicate).
I bought this is blue, and the color is great!

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Sarafin Sweater - Women's:
Received the sweater (in picante) as a gift from my husband. It's used for work casual fridays and everyday wear. Warm, cozy, and semi-fitted (not bulky at all). Very handy thumbloops so the sleeves don't ride up when you're wearing gloves. Overall a great buy and a great gift that has a timeless look.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Sarafin Sweater - Women's:
I would wear this sweater every day in the fall and winter months if I could. It is so comfortable, lightweight yet very warm and stylish. I get lots of compliments on it each time I wear it. While a bit expensive, to have a sweater to go back to time and time again is worth the funds. I hope to buy a second one soon.
