I'm very unhappy with my purchase. It is very itchy and after wearing it for an hour I'm very uncomfortable. IT's tough to decide keping it on or taking it off the choice is being cold or itchy. I wish I had left the tags on so I could have returned it.

I normally love Patagonia capilene products and ALWAYS wear the same size (small) in them, however for this item I found the neckhole absurdly small. Had to return it. The fit is also a bit tighter than other Patagonia capilene shirts I own.

This has become my new favorite cold-weather shirt. It kept me warm during a recent chilly 5k, and also works great under t-shirts for casual wear. I have a ton of winter cycling gear, and I swear this insulates better than any of my long-sleeve jerseys. I also really like the flattering hourglass fit. The only remotely annoying thing about it is that the neck hole is very small and you need to actively force your head through.

I have one of these shirts in crew-neck and one with the zip-neck, and I really prefer the crew. It's perfect for a wide range of activities and if they were less expensive I'd probably get one in every color.

Really keeps the chill out. I have worn this alone and with different layers.
Definitely wicks aways the perspiration!
Almost seems like it was tailor made for me. The shoulders and back are wonderfully long enough, I can even tuck the tail in.
Love the long sleeves ! They actually come all the way down and even cover my wrists!(most long sleeves are a little short)
Will definitely try the 1,2 & 4 as weather permits.

Perfect for outdoor winter sports. Is a bit itchy at first (and I have fairly sensitive skin) but after a few moments, it's not a problem. Neck hole is DEFINITELY way too small, but other than a bit of discomfort getting the shirt on and off, this doesn't matter too much, and the sizing is perfect in every other way.

Bought this along with the pants for my adventures/guiding in the Japanese Northern Alps, but continue to use it since my return to Colorado. Absolutely love this shirt! Great as over and under layer! Beware when around fire not to get too close, I did burn a small hole near the shoulder with an ash while warming up. But not too big of worry, since it's polly - just a little hole that hasn't spread!!! I wear this multiple times a week while teaching outdoor ed in the winter season. One of the best gear purchases I've made this year!

i agree with all of the above positive comments. this (and the bottoms) are a GREAT product. unlike some of the other comments, i have NO problem with neck hole. i can get my head through perfectly without any problems.
