Our heavyweight MTS® underwear is an excellent first layer for mountaineering and other high-energy, cold-weather activities.

  • Quick-drying and moisture-wicking, ultra-soft MTS® microfleece draws perspiration away from skin to keep you warm, dry and comfortable
  • Zip T-neck with deep zipper allows ventilation control; zipper has soft backing to avoid chafing
  • Drop-tail hem stays tucked in and offers extra coverage in back
  • All seams are flat-lock stitched to avoid abrasion and bulk
  • With four-way stretch and a close-fitting cut, top is thermally efficient and won't inhibit movement

        I love my REI heavy-weight MTS zip T-neck top. Not for backcountry skiing in southern Colorado because it's usually too warm for that, but for working at my desk on cool mornings. For that it's perfect.

          I use it at work (electrican in my case) I often endup working outside in cold New England weather.
          It goes well under my work jacket. It has long zipper to cool things off, and perfect lenght sleeves (they cover my wrists) Also turtle neck that traps body heat is great too.
