          I bought the Skybox because we were moving across country and needed a little extra room in the car.
          I was concerned that the attachments wouldn't fit my factory rack on my Jeep Commander but it did with no problem. I was also concerned that I would need help getting it on and off my roof. At a little over 50 lbs it is a one person operation with no problem. I had also heard horror stories about wind noise and loose items booming around in it but neither is an issue.
          My wife was driving the car and forgot it was on top and drove into a parking garage. She remembered as soon as she hit the first low concrete beam. I'm happy to say there was no damage to the box or my car. She backed up and out of the garage.
          A great way of getting extra space in the car.

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

            I only wish I had bought one sooner. It has been great for camping and week long trips with our kids, snowboards and skis can be thrown right in. The dogs like it too, because now we have room in the car for them.

              Until we purchased our skybox, the kids invariably spent long car rides to remote locations with gear in their laps and under their feet. We couldn't even see out the rear window of our van! The skybox gives us room to breathe inside the car, while keeping bulky items safe, clean and dry during the trip. It's easy to adjust and install, simple to remove from the car and the dual side access makes it a snap to balance the load. Perfect!

              This is a great storage space for gear that can be locked up and kept out of the weather. It is accessible from both sides and can be locked on both sides. It is very easy to open and latch and the space inside is more than adequate. It fit well with the existing roof rack from the dealer. It did not block the lift gate or the sunroof. It is very aerodynamic and handles well in windy situations when driving. Be careful not to overload the cargo carrier, since the space is so large. You will have to plan for large and light articles. I found the only drawback is storing the carrier when not in use. A small price to pay in the off season.

              Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
