The asymmetrical shape of the Am'D screwgate carabiner makes it one of the strongest carabiners in Petzl®'s line-up.
- Ideal for everything from setting up anchors to belaying, the traditional screwgate locking method makes this carabiner extremely versatile
- Unique, patented Keylock gate uses a key-shaped nose on carabiner and slot-shaped gate to create a strong, snag-free closure
- Manual screwgate system features red band indicator to show carabiner is unlocked, providing a quick visual safety check
- Recommended for dirty and dusty environments that can cause autolocking carabiner mechanisms to malfunction
