    The Edelweiss Discover 8mm x 30m Super Dry twin rope is a shorter length rope designed for mountain walking, glacier travel and use during emergencies.

    • Small diameter and dry finish keep the weight down, while its 30m length coils small for easy transport in a pack
    • Super Everdry™ treatment coats both sheath and core fibers to minimize water-absorption
    • Additional Perdur™ sheath fiber coating helps increase abrasion resistance up to 33%

      This is a great smaller rope and a good value. Only nit pic is the listed weight of 42g/m appears inaccurate, as the rope I purchased is 47.5g/m.

          Bought this rope for glacial travel for 2 and 3 person teams. Took it up Mt. Rainier in late September and it worked great. Due to its lightweight and 30m length it easy to pack. Color is bright enough to see well even in the darkest of nights on the mountian. It takes knots well, bites tight, but also unties easily. Comparing this to another 8mm rope I notice the sheath isnt as 'smooth' as the other rope...but this in no way made any difference while climbing or tying in. Buy with confidence.
