Comments about Bison Designs Viper Belt:
I have never written a review before, but this belt deserves a nod. On a recent trek from the Black Sea to the Baltic Sea, my pair of Bison Belts served as: a seat belt on a farm tractor wagon near Bucharest, a tie down for a tent in Hungary, I lashed my pack to a pole in Krokow (no pun intended) which thwarted a thief from swipping it, it held a car door closed on some crazy mountain road for 8 hours, I carried a bundle of fire wood bound by it over my shoulder in a little village in Latvia, and in Sweden, it repaired a sub par Ikea convertible futon from dumping me on the floor every time I got out of it...and they held up my pants! Buy two...wear one, have the other one at the ready! I'll never travel with out the duo again...oh yeah, they didn't set off any airport metal detectors either.

Comments about Bison Designs Viper Belt:
I use this belt when hiking because of its durability. It can take a real beating and come back for more. I never have to worry about it ripping or coming loose.

Comments about Bison Designs Viper Belt:
Got this belt on sale at my local REI store. I've been using it everyday now for a couple months...and have had NO problems w/ 'slippage'. And I carry a full sized handgun inside the waistband! THIS is one of the few belts I own that works well for concealed carry. It's also great that you can just cut it to size...put a flame on the end of it to seal the nylon, and...good as new! Looks great and made in the good 'ol USA!

Comments about Bison Designs Viper Belt:
I have had my belt for over a year and it is the toughest belt I have ever owned, second and third toughest where also bison belts. It looks good with everything and it's very tough. I did have to break it in for a week or two before it would stay and not slip, but when it did slip, it was minimal. I have used my belt to haul firewood, pull very heavy things (not using the buckle), hang my backpack off a wet ground, fend away snarling beagles, and even keep my pants up.This is my never fail, bullet proof belt, the only thing better that I can think of... batman has.

Comments about Bison Designs Viper Belt:
As noted before this is a good belt though the clasp is a bit cumbersome. Be careful though, it will not always make it through airport security. It went through fine in one place but I had to take it off in another. That will teach me to stick with plastic...

Stylish belt; had no problems with it working loose.
BUT the locking slide has worked free - fallen out - a couple of times.

Comments about Bison Designs Viper Belt:
This is an excellent belt. Can't comment on the complaint that it slips. I read the reviews before purchasing and have worn the belt a few dozen times or so and it's never slipped; not once. The reverse thread buckle takes a couple tries to get used to, but it works just fine. The belt is rugged and looks good. I could easily see myself using it to lash cargo if necessary, but for now, it's just been a nice belt.

Comments about Bison Designs Viper Belt:
You could tow a truck with it but is of limited function. It is stiff and miserable to buckle regardless of which way you thread the belt. It slips under pressure and would function best for those who do not need a belt. Looks good; works bad.
