Comments about Park Home Mechanic Bike Repair Stand:
A solid, easy to use stand ... the jaws are hard rubber, so insert a soft towel/rag to prevent scratching the bike frame ... Park doesn't warn you, but should not clamp a carbon seat post (or other carbon components).

Comments about Park Home Mechanic Bike Repair Stand:
Nice sturdy stand for the home mechanic. I do serious work on my bikes a few times a year and light work pretty much every weekend. This stand is more than suitable for that and the 360 clamp makes accessing all parts of the bike a breeze. It's a bit heavy for keeping in the trunk, but it would still do the trick.

Comments about Park Home Mechanic Bike Repair Stand:
I love this stand!!! It folds up nice so I can fit it in my car for long biking trips. You can clamp your bike down so easily. You can rotate, spin, move your bike around while it's on the stand with ease. It's heavy which makes it very sturdy. Never seen it tip with even my 45lb bike. Quick releases for adjustability. Just an overall great stand.

Comments about Park Home Mechanic Bike Repair Stand:
This stand fits every need. Very adjustable and folds up easily for storage or hanging. I was surprised how heavy-duty the hardware was. Pictures do not do justice. Easy to adjust with one hand and I use it every week for MTB maintenance. Highly recommend.

Comments about Park Home Mechanic Bike Repair Stand:
I wanted a stand that I could use for older bikes that were to be restored. I got this and it has been very good for working on new and older bikes. It seems to be able to hold just about any bike with ease. and you can rotate and change the angle while it's on the stand very quickly.
The only thing it would need is a tray to hold tools and parts while working.

Comments about Park Home Mechanic Bike Repair Stand:
When I bought this stand, I didn't realize how big it was. Not a problem for me since I keep this in the garage. I had 2 issues with this stand.
First is my rear brake cable, on the top tube, isn't fully on the bottom or top of the tube. When I clamp down on my bike, I have to move the cable over a bit to get it in the bottom channel of the grip.
Second, the plastic piece that holds the legs when folded came broken. It looks to be a flimsy design. I won't return it just for that, but will try to get a replacement piece. In any case, I doubt it would last if I do get a replacement (not a big deal).

Comments about Park Home Mechanic Bike Repair Stand:
Since September, this stand has lived up to expectations: convenient 360-degree rotation (which is saving my back), light enough to be easily repositioned on the shop floor, sturdy construction. I like the height adjustment feature, as well as the ability to adjust laterally. The quick-release levers work well. I purchased this with the Park seat tube insert, which also works very well. I just ordered a second stand for use with my hobby shop's planned mobile check-up events in 2009.
