    The REI Member Dividend

        Comments about Sigma Sport Power Magnet:

        The old Cateye computers use a ridiculous fragile plastic magnet mount that must straddle two spokes and requires constant adjustment. Upon replacing that with this magnet my Cateye has been totally trouble free.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

              Comments about Sigma Sport Power Magnet:

              I have a Sigma 509 computer. I bought this magnet because I needed to mount the sensor more than 5 mm from the magnet. The advertising claims that this magnet works up to 20 mm from the sensor.

              I found that it worked marginally better than the stock magnet: maybe 8 mm.

              I ended up using a 40 cent magnet from the hardware store. Secured to spoke with 5200 adhesive. This works much better.

              I would save your money and go to the hardware store.
