          I can't comment much on this item because I was unable to mount it on my Scott Sportster P4 Lady Bike, for which it was suggested on the REI web site. I would not recommend it for this specific bike.

          My Specialized Ariel has braze-ons on only one side and standard fenders would not work with my bike. The front fender of this set works perfectly with my wide tire and the braze-on at the fork. I did have to purchase a shorter bolt from a hardware store as the bolt provided was much too long for a secure attachment.

          The back fender will not work with my bike as a I have a rear rack over my back tire. Even if I could have clipped on the back fender, it would not have prevented a rooster tail behind me nor would it have cleared my back tire.

          The front fender is doing a great job of protecting my bike and me front road debris, but I'm giving this product an average rating as I can use only half of the set.

              These fenders came with no manual--I had to look it up online. Once I found it, it was a very confusing and poorly-written set of instructions (almost like someone who speaks English as a second language wrote it). I spent 2 hours last night trying to install these fenders, and I am still not quite sure they are on correctly.

              Also, as other reviews have mentioned, it does not seem like they are going to be easy to take off and put back on my bike. The front mount uses a screw to attach the fender, and it seems as though it would easily fall off and get lost once it is loosened. The rear fender seems to snap in to place (I think?), and it does not do that very easily.

              The PDF manual mentioned that there were extra parts included with the kit for different bikes--mine didn't come with any.

              Beyond these complaints, they are lightweight, and not bad-looking fenders. It is supposed to rain today, so I will be testing them out for the first time! But as far as these things being easy to install and easy to remove/attach goes, they are already a big disappointment.

                Unfortunately, the fenders did not fit my older schwinn road bike. Quality looked good and light weight. Front fender may not protect feet and crank from splashing. I would suggest contacting Planet Bike to verify compatibility before purchase.

                  While an inexpensive option for bike fenders, the mounting hardwear did not fit my cyclocross bike. I had to buy a longer screw for my larger tubes. Also, the front fender cannot be removed from my bike without completely disassembling the mount. This might work for you if it fits your bike.
