Comments about Chariot Carriers Strolling CTS Kit - 2006 and newer:
We purchased our Chariot April 2011 but bought it with the jogging wheel attachment and eventually got the bike attachment when the kids were older. But I had no idea what I was missing not having a fixed wheel on the front of the Chariot. They literally glide. No more taking up 5 feet of space at the zoo when I need to turn. The boys can also get in and out of the stroller a lot easier now too. They are simple to snap in and it's great that they stow so easily as well so when we go biking and want to walk as well (like to the Farmer's Market), we have the wheels with us. Chariot has truly thought of everything.

Comments about Chariot Carriers Strolling CTS Kit - 2006 and newer:
We purchased this kit along with our CX2, and always have it on the chassis. This is a must-purchase for your Chariot. This kit makes your Chariot very maneuverable, and is the only kit I would take shopping or to a theme park, etc. The jogging kit works great, but it is fixed-wheel and lengthens the chassis by a foot or two - consequently, the stroller kit is better for tight spaces requiring frequent correction and changes of direction.
I really like how you can stow the wheels on the Chariot - it looks sharp, and only takes a few seconds to flip the wheels down after a bike ride to convert to full stroller mode.
I wish this kit was included with the original chassis purchase, and it seems a little pricey for a couple of wheels. However, the build quality is high (and if you're purchasing a Chariot in the first place, you've already eliminated price as your chief concern).
If I had to pick just one Chariot kit to start, this would be it. We have even used it for jogging a time or two when we didn't want to take the time to change to the jogging kit - just make sure you use the wrist strap to maintain control, and keep in mind that it is relatively easy to tilt the chassis back if you lean on the handlebars (especially if you are carrying anything in the rear storage compartment). The wheels hold up well in gravel, on pavement, and even through some mud and snow. They track effortlessly and smoothly (no annoying stroller wheel squeaking or shopping cart style wobbling even after a lot of abuse).

I use the stroller wheels on my CX2. They are really handy to have. They turn and roll like a dream. I like that they don't stick out, so I don't worry about running over anyones ankles. They store nicely on the front of the trailer. They are perfect for walks. Also great to have when you ride your bike to the store and want to take your trailer into the store for use as a stroller.

I LOVE these wheels! I have had my Cougar 2 for 3 years now and the addition of these makes it soo much easier to maneuver my stroller and for the kids to get in and out on their own (they are 4 and 18mo). I would highly recommend these!

We are a very active family and love to be outdoors. However, terrain can be anything from a sidewalk, to hiking trails. We have found that the jogger attachment is a bit cumbersome to constantly be lifting to turn the chariot. It is however great for jogging! Stroller wheels usually have a connotation of wussy, tiny, and only useful on hard, flat surfaces. That is the farthest thing from what Chariot offers for their strolling kit. First of all they are built very well, are large enough to be on just about any terrain, and are so easy to use & store! Second, they work awesome! Third, they are a must to transform your chariot into a unbelievably maneuverable child carrier.
Quite frankly we don't use things that are not enjoyable to use. Spend the cash and transform your chariot, simply, into a more enjoyable and useful way to get outdoors with your kids!
Chariot...you've hit another home run!

We've had the Chariot chasis for about 2 years and usually use it with the bike attachment or as a jogger. I took our daughter to a farmers' market, but it was hard to maneuver with the jogger wheel. Looked on REI.com and saw these stroller wheels and knew that was the answer. Installation was a snap! Maneuverability is better than a our stroller, which my wife likes it for hitting the mall. This makes the works so much better for wandering thru a farmers's market than the jogger wheel! This kit definitely adds to the versatility of the chasis. It's not cheap, but quality hardly ever is.

I love these babies. I liked my Chariot with the jogging wheel, but these put it over the top. They roll so easy, and make the stroller unbelievably easy to manuever. We walk a lot, in fact I wore out our previous stroller and decieded I need a more serious stroller. These fit the bill. With these on the stroller is short, and easily fits through store doors. I love them and would recommend them over the jogging wheel. I am not much of a runner, but I do a lot of speed walking and these are great. I have run down the street and these worked great!
