I was elated to find this headwear while I was undergoing chemotherapy treatment for breast cancer. It is a million times better than wigs, scarves, or hats. It stays on even in a ferocious wind, it's comfortable, it's beautiful, and the UV protection is very important to those of us who have lost our hair. I highly recommend this item!

I had two of these on my multi-month trip to Asia. They were among my best travel gears. In hot weather, it kept me cooler by keeping my hair out of my face and neck. It also helped to prevent sweat from dripping down my face. In cold weather, it acted as emergency hat/earmuff (You'd be amazed what a thin layer of fabric can do to keep you warmer!) Occasionally, I also bundled the fabric under my nose to act as a mask when the exhaust from buses and jeeps became overbearing. Lastly, I sometimes use it to wrap my hair when I am on dirt roads of Asia or dusty backpacking trips to keep my hair cleaner which helps when I don't have the facilities to wash my hair every day.

I was hesitant to buy this because [$] seemed like quite a bit of money to spend on a piece of fabric. But it is well worth it. My hair is really slippery, and regular bandanas NEVER seem to stay in place. These are made out of a stretchable (thin) fabric and are sewn like a tube. They breathe well, don't budge, (no matter what I am doing) and I pretty much forget it is there, which is awesome. I highly recommend them. (I even went out and bought another one.)

I have a hard time with headbands staying on my head. This fits really well and stays in place. I do not have to spend time adjusting it all day long. Also, I find that it does keep the moisture out and keeps me cool. I just ordered another one to add to the one I have.

I am an outdoor instructor, spending 6+ hours outside in the sun on a typical weekend day. My Coolmax Buff helps keep me cool. It also helps keep the sun off my neck. I've got about a dozen Buffs in various colors - both CoolMax and original. They help keep my helmet from getting nasty inside (easier to wash the Buff than the helmet liner) and they make a great fashion accessory as well.

These are great for keeping your hair out of your face. I bring it along while camping and traveling to pull back and mask my dirty hair. Sometimes it slips off often though, and doesn't want to stay in place. I also wear it around my neck to keep off the sun. Overall good product but I wish they were cheaper!

I own three of these now! 1, UV buff. 1, insect shield. And 1 original. I never leave the house without one of these. Incredibly versatile! It seems pricey when considering the fabric and seemingly "smallness" but it makes up for the cost with the versatility! Highly recommend!
