Comments about Mad River Explorer 14 TT Canoe:
Have used my 14TT on multiple river trips & many lake trips. Tracks well for short size in lakes with two paddlers. Does well on river trips solo. Carries lots of gear for multi days solo. Tracks easy in flat water. Responsive in mild whitewater Class 3 and under. Make sure your weight is distributed well for river running - really effects handling. Takes on water in whoop dee doos. I use a bow cover for front - really makes a difference. Boat is a lttle heavy for size but duarable and a great value. My kids are getting old enough to river trip so I'll be buying another one.

Comments about Mad River Explorer 14 TT Canoe:
I don't think I have any complaints other than lateral stability. I bought it for fishing on large ponds/small lakes and as long as you don't shift your weight around too much, it rides nicely. I am not sure if this is the "perfect" hull shape for this activity, but it certainly does provide access to a great many areas that are not otherwise accessible. I am looking forward to putting in on some moving water to see how she handles.
