      After seeing a riding friend use these, I bit the bullet and bought a pair. He raved about them but experienced several side cuts. I have nearly 4K on mine and am looking to replace them after my first flat today. Great tire and in my experience, worth the extra dollars.

          I used Continental tires in the past and they worked well. However, this particular tire punctures easily. In one weekend I was knocked down with four flats. Ouch!
