Comments about Shimano M121 MTB Shoes - Men's:
Had these shoes for a year and they worked great for road riding but once I used them mtn biking the Velcro loosens up and you have to continually retighten them.

Comments about Shimano M121 MTB Shoes - Men's:
Received these as a gift and love them for mountain biking. It is a whole new world. They are easy to adjust, paired well with my cleats and pedals (Time ATAC XE), and are a joy to use. Dramatically increased pedaling efficiency, and are comfortable for extended use.

Comments about Shimano M121 MTB Shoes - Men's:
This shoe is my first foray into cycling specialization. They fit me well, I can walk around in them for extended periods of time. They make my riding more efficient. I cut 8 min off of my commute time when I bought them. Plus, no laces = easy operation.

Comments about Shimano M121 MTB Shoes - Men's:
Shimano has done it again.
Create a model of shoes which does what it was designed to.
This model was purchased to compliment my RT50 shoes. These are clearly ATB shoes. Very well ventilated, ruggedly designed to withstand the rigours of off-road cycling AND still look good (even though that's the least important feature for me). Since they are for ATB riding, walking in them is easier which is important if you have to wear them the moment you leave the house (I use my bike for all my commuting) and have be in them for 4 to 8 hours a day.
On the inner-roads (dirt, mud) these shoes shine! Interestingly enough they also react very well when you sprint in them on the asphalt. All your strength is transferred through your pedals, crank-set, chain, cassette, spokes & tires to the road - as efficiently as possible.
These are great shoes which can actually be worn all day.
Anyone who needs offroad shoes (I'll use these on my ATB bike soon) should get them.
Since their performance is also great on my roadbike, they are simply a blessing ;)

Comments about Shimano M121 MTB Shoes - Men's:
A simple shoe, at a reasonable price. Good stiff soles, leather skeletal shell with mesh all over. I spent a year in Henderson, NV. [...]As far as ventilation goes, these shoes cannot be beat. I have had these shoes for around 9 months and they have stood up to the pressures of the desert rock and now the pressures of the midwest mud. The shoes have been beaten and treated rather poorly but do not show any sign wear as of yet. I'm hard on my gear, so I need gear that likes the abuse. These shoes are it.
