Comments about Deuter Futura Pro 34 SL Daypack - Women's:
I bought this pack for a 3 week trip to Chile and used it for day hikes into many of the national parks there. It held all the essentials, full sized camera and emergency gear. It also qualified as carry-on size for the internal flights.
But most of all, it fit me like to other pack has. I am 5'4" and have always had trouble finding packs that fit me so that the weight of the pack is distributed properly. I had no fatigue during the 3 weeks after carrying it every day. I will be travelling with this pack for many years to come.

As a Ranger with the U.S. Forest Service I've used this pack (and I'm a guy so shhhhh lol) over and over again for merely two years and used it in Amsterdam during my trip. I highly recommend it for the avid day time enthusiast. Not sure why they say it's a "women's" backpack but o well. Works great, has a ventilation screen on the back so your back doesn't burn up all your hydration from sweating and has various compartments to store many things! Tailors to your back posture well also! Wouldn't suggest for use on prolonged over night trips it's limitted on what you can attach to it i.e; sleeping back and tent is ergnomically challenging!

Got this as a Christmas gift for weekend hikes. It's a little small for overnight trips in my opinion but can be done if packing light. The fit on this is great and fairly adjustable. I'm only 5'1" and have a hard time finding a pack to fit. The design keeps the pack from being directly on your back and allows some airflow which is nice too. Alot of attention to details makes this pack worth the price.

Comments about Deuter Futura Pro 34 SL Daypack - Women's:
I got this pack when I started doing longer 8-15 mile day hikes and the hydration pack just wasn't cutting it. I wanted to be able to pack warm gear and emergency supplies on some more dangerous hikes/summits and in fall/spring and this was the perfect option. The padded hip belt fits me well, and I really like the two separate "entrances" into the main pack space-- I store my rain/warm gear down low and then can put my food in the top for access to either when I need it. This pack makes me want to go hiking more :) When you're price comparing, and especially if you live in a rainy area like I do, remember this comes with a "free" rain cover that is fantastic!

Comments about Deuter Futura Pro 34 SL Daypack - Women's:
Used this pack for 30 day hut touring in Switzerland, was great for hiking and traveling on train as suspension kept me cool in hot weather and balanced weight up to 25 pounds, after that needed more rugged suspension. I love the many pockets, flap pocket was great for ebook, maps, GPs, Rain cover best internal one I have ever used, real down pours and still dry. I am short waisted and have hard time fitting packs, this was the best by far in many years ! Con:when using internal hydration pocket, not much room left over, this pack would not have worked if I had to carry sleeping bag and tent. Still great, will use again on next adventure.
