Comments about Eagle Creek Comfort Travel Blanket:
I purchased this hoping to do away with a summer sleeping bag and thus save some weight. For this it works really well. I wear my trousers to bed with socks and sleep beautifully with this covering my body keeping me warm while keeping my pack light.
Two things I'm not a great fan of is the fact it's not exactly compact when folded as you can't really crush it down much and the pocket. While it's a nice idea to have a pocket for those interested in a pillow, it's a mighty lumpy pillow unless you fold it up inside and if you're folding it, why do you also need to stuff it? Just fold it, put it behind your head and be done.
I would have preferred seeing that material being added to the end for a few extra inches length than being wasted in such a way.
For some the pocket may be a great addition but not for me.
For the purpose I had in mind it has performed admirably and I am impressed with it. Lightweight warmth is rarely perfect.

Comments about Eagle Creek Comfort Travel Blanket:
I brought this blanket on a month long trip through Australia and New Zealand and found it to generally be a waste of space. It doesn't fold up nicely into the pocket when you're flying economy and is a few inches too short (coming from someone who is barely 5'). Although this is a minor point, I would have preferred more of a color selection--the grey is so drab.

Comments about Eagle Creek Comfort Travel Blanket:
The blanket does its job just fine.
It folds into the pocket just fine, but is a tad bulky so it's good if you're using it as a pillow once in the pocket. NOT for backpacking.
The blanket is too short.

Comments about Eagle Creek Comfort Travel Blanket:
This is a great alternative to those yucky blankets you find on a plane. You can put it into its pocket and create a pillow. The pocket itself has a variety of uses when you are traveling and makes a great place to put your ipod or anything else. I've used mine as a throw in my house and while traveling. It's still holding up great.

Comments about Eagle Creek Comfort Travel Blanket:
First of all, I dislike using the blanket and pillow provided by the airlines hence this investment.
I am a 5'3" female. The length is right for me. It is just thick enough to fend off A/C in the cabin during the flight. I wish there are more color choices but I can do with this hard to show dirt charcoal gray color. After all, it is the functionality that counts.
The big pocket is good to keep items from falling off the lap after falling asleep. I don't use it to stuff the blanket. The folding into it nicely is too tricky before the frenzy of getting off the plane.
I will recommend buying an REI or Granite Gear stuff sack for storage and carrying. 5.5x13 or 6x12 size is enough for a blanket this size and for putting it in your carry-on bag. I can even stuff the Eagle Creek inflatable neck roll into the same stuff sack with the blanket!
Now go get yourself a stuff sack for your blanket and neck roll on REI or REI Outlet for a much more comfortable traveling experience!
