Comments about CamelBak Slip Stream Hydration Pack - 50 oz.:
I'm a big fan of the camel back, but I don't think it's for cycling...I've seen the explosion of the camelback in cycling and thought I would try it out... The Texas summers require lots of water, so I purchased it.. It made me feel even hotter having something on my back and I couldn't get comfortable riding with it... Great tool for hiking, but not for the bike in my opinion...

Comments about CamelBak Slip Stream Hydration Pack - 50 oz.:
This doesn't look like much of a camelback at just over 50 oz, but that's the beauty of it. Cinch the straps tight until the pack is just about touching your arm pits, and then tighten and move down the chest strap to get the arm straps to come down and tight. Now, you're ready for trail running through just about any terrain you can think of, with all the weight of your fluids and fuel sitting securely on the top half of your back. Be prepared though to have to increase your flexiblity to get fuel out of the pockets or even take it off. I can't recommend this for biking, but this pack is better than any other camelback or waitpack for running free and fast.

Comments about CamelBak Slip Stream Hydration Pack - 50 oz.:
I love using a CamelBak instead of water bottles. It is much easier to hydrate yourself! This is definitely for road cycling because there is no waste strap to keep the pack from 'jumping' when you hit a bump, but this is no issue on the road. This is no substitute for a wedgepack, but is the best compliment for your road adventure. It is easy to refill on your pit stop on a hot day, and has a small enough profile on your back to not be a bother.

Comments about CamelBak Slip Stream Hydration Pack - 50 oz.:
Have used this for casual road biking. The bright color is very good for low light visibility and just enough pack for a short outing. Probably not enough capacity for extended outings but perfect for an hour or two on the road or out hiking. One small inner pocket enough for a cell phone or snack and one larger external pocket big enough for keys and maybe a very light jacket.
