Comments about The North Face Megamouth Hydration Pack - 100 oz.:

This is by far the best day pack I have ever purchased - I have used this pack on everything from climbing Mt. Whitney to traveling through Mexico (where I needed the water filter). The insulated water compartment is nice - don't expect miracles, but if you put cold water with some ice in it, it'll stay cold for several hours in the sun on your back. I also use it as my skiing pack :)

Comments about The North Face Megamouth Hydration Pack - 100 oz.:

I liked the pack duirng a trip to a 14ner in CO. It has plenty of space available for almost everything that I have. Since I am minimalist, I would be using this pack for a weekend backpacking trip. The valve worked perfect and the water flow was excellent, but the size of the bladder was not enough given average water consumption in an intense 8 hour hike. However, as an example of the design, the water stayed cool for six hours, while my friend melted some cheese that was inside a different pack with his body heat during the trip. The magnet clip-on is very practical, the bite valve worked great, and the bladder design will make it easy to clean. It may work well for short hikes. I tested that the X frame can be re-shaped, but I am not sure if the shape stays for long. With some weight in it, the pack can create a blister in you lower back given the lack of padded protection, which probably means that it will work great for climb-ups. Xtra comfort in your shoulders. Materails are durable and do not break or rip easy.

Comments about The North Face Megamouth Hydration Pack - 100 oz.:

I needed a pack that I could use for several different things, and this one definitely answered the call. I gives a great hydration pack to bike or hike with, but I can also use it to tote my 15" MacBook Pro to and from class in style (though it is a bit tight in the width of the bag). It has proven to be perfect for the uses that I have found for it so far.

Comments about The North Face Megamouth Hydration Pack - 100 oz.:

This pack is gold! I just took this pack up Half Dome and it worked well. It held the perfect amount for a day hike like this. I even had water and snacks to spare. The best part about this pack, which sets it apart from other hydration day packs like the Camelbak, is the awesome magnetic button that holds the mouthpiece in place when not in use. This magnetic button is so much more convenient than a clasp or having your and mouthpiece flap around during your hike. Nalgene makes the water reservoir, so you know it’s good. I would definitely recommend this daypack! BTW… I am an average size person and it fits me good. If you are tall you may want to try it on to make sure it is a good fit for you.

Comments about The North Face Megamouth Hydration Pack - 100 oz.:

It is a great pack. I keep filling and filling and still had a lot of room left. I took it on a 10 mile hike up the Appalachian Trail and I didn't even know it was on my back. There only one con with it and you have to make sure the cap is screwed on good and tight and make sure you line it up right or it will leak. But other than that great back!

Comments about The North Face Megamouth Hydration Pack - 100 oz.:

The hose with the magnetic holder is quick, although a little noisy for hunting. My bite valve didn't take long before it had holes in it although this may have been caused by kids biting too hard. Our local store doesn't sell spare valves so I had to order some. Now my hose leaks at the bite valve.

Comments about The North Face Megamouth Hydration Pack - 100 oz.:

This is my 3rd hydration pack, and all of them are happened to be a north face brand.

Compared to my oldest hydration pack, hammer head, this is almost same as hammer head with same numer of opening(3) and same size reservoir.

It is tad bigger than hammer head, and now i can fit my 13" macbook in it with out taking out the reservoir.

Bigger size makes it versatile everyday pack.
