The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about OnGuard Locking Skewer Set:
The metal loop meant to secure the key to a keyring is soft, bends easily and will let the key fall off your keyring, never to be seen again.
When this happens, a hammer and centerpunch will remove the lock from your bike in seconds.
You might as well use a cheap combination cable lock instead.

Comments about OnGuard Locking Skewer Set:
As a previous reviewer noted, the price on these locking skewers is not that competitive with Delta Axle Rodz, but there's a clear difference in quality. The OnGuard Locking Skewers just feel like a much better quality. The Delta Axle Rodz can be removed with a standard Allen wrench while the OnGuard Locking Skewers use a special key. This of course helps protect your wheels from getting stolen, but also means that you'll have to keep the key around, since it's pretty much unique to your set of skewers. You can register your key with the manufacturer and get a replacement if you lose it. Yes, these skewers are expensive, but if you have a little patience and look around, you can sometimes find them on sale for around half the regular price. At that level, they are very competitive with the Delta Axle Rodz.

Comments about OnGuard Locking Skewer Set:
I never could figure out why bikes have quick release anything in the first place. It makes securing your bike that much harder but this skewer set makes things a lot easier. I also use a U lock and have never had a problem. Thieves see that the wheels can not be easily removed and a good U lock and they move on to easier targets. After all the reason they are thieves is because they are lazy & don't want to do any work.

Comments about OnGuard Locking Skewer Set:
Great solution for preventing theft of your wheels and seat. But...
I kinda wish they also sold it without the saddle lock for those whose bikes don't have a QR lever for the saddle. Otherwise the Delta Cycle Axelrodz are more cost effective.

Comments about OnGuard Locking Skewer Set:
They work great so far. I have had them for over a year and I still own all the parts that they are designed to lock up. My bike is worth over 2k and I have more piece of mind with these locks on it while its outside my work for 9 hours a day.
