          As a new backpacker this book answered a lot of questions for me and has made me to become more responsible in the wilderness. Is a great book for even well-seasoned backpackers. It will teach you just about everything there is to know about backpacking. Fitting and selecting gear, diff types of shelters, first aid techniques, how to organize your group, cooking, outdoor ethics, there's so much to learn.
