Comments about REI Sub Kilo +15 Sleeping Bag - Women's Long:
I also purchased this bag on sale last year which made it a great deal; it also came with a compression sack. I'm 5' 8" and opted for the long bag since my feet were right up against the bottom of the regular length bag. I also purchased the Cocoon cotton liner which when used with the sleeping bag brings its rating down to +10 degrees F. The only time I've ever been cold in this bag/liner combo is when I've slept on a large, thick air mattress placed directly on the ground. A warmer combination is the bag/liner and a ThermaRest Pro 3 pad. The only con I've discovered is that if the bag is unzipped all the way down to the bottom, it's difficult to get the zipper started again. I've never gotten the bag wet, so I can't speak about the bag's insulation properties when wet.

Comments about REI Sub Kilo +15 Sleeping Bag - Women's Long:
Bought this bag on sale, which made it a steal!
Compared to other high loft down it is cost effective and a good bargain for light weight backpacking. Have used this bag for three season
hammocking on the AT, and love its warmth and water resistant finish. Plan to use it next year on my thur hike on the AT.

Comments about REI Sub Kilo +15 Sleeping Bag - Women's Long:
I have a tendency to sleep cold and this bag did the trick. I was thinking to go with the REI 0 degree bag, but opted for this because it is just under 2# weight. For the price you can't beat that. Once night on the PCT it did freeze but I was warm fully zipped up. I simply LOVE the hood, it is roomy and not constricting, but keeps the heat in really nice. And the bag is oh so light and soft. The only con is that (ahem) my size 14 hips are just a wee bit snug in the bag, I can make do, but wish I had just a tiny bit more tolerance. I bought the long for my 5-7" height, which is great.

Comments about REI Sub Kilo +15 Sleeping Bag - Women's Long:
We've used this on cycle touring trips and it's really comfy and warm. I've used the REI fleece sleep sack with it and was quite warm. I like the way it compresses so small and I like the stuff sack - very compact and easy to use. My daughter bought the same one because I liked mine so much.
