Comments about Sea To Summit eVent Compression Dry Sack - 9 x 20:
Simply the best waterproof dry sack I've ever used. The eVent fabric is completely waterproof and the way the sack is constructed your contents will stay dry even when totally submersed. And all that happiness is highly compressable. These sacks are much more durable and waterproof than the silicon-impregnated nylon sacks that I was using, and the ability to compress the sacks even after sealing them shut is fantastic. I've used mine several times with no signs of wear and with all my gear protected by these I no longer have a need for a pack cover. I hate saying that a particular product is perfect, but I have yet to find a fault, as the headline stated it's the only stuff sack that I'll buy.

Comments about Sea To Summit eVent Compression Dry Sack - 9 x 20:
I will be using this stuff sack for my clothes on a thru-hike in May. I was shocked when I put in almost all the clothes I was going to take and the sack compressed it all down to a neat little ball. If you are worried about room in your pack, one of these might not be a bad idea.

Comments about Sea To Summit eVent Compression Dry Sack - 9 x 20:
Waterproof + breathable = dry sleeping bag + no wrestling to squeeze air out of a non-breathable bag ==> Happiness!
It also appears to be quite durable under normal conditions; I've taken it backpacking several times and have had no problems.

I love these sacks. I can get all of my gear into my pack with room to spare and I don't have to worry about it getting wet since the fabric is waterproof. I like the idea that they are compressable even when closed- so you can fill it full and still be amazed at how small they get!

Comments about Sea To Summit eVent Compression Dry Sack - 9 x 20:
I loved the idea and bought this for a kayaking trip. The bag worked great but I noticed that there was a small rip at the top of the bag after one use. The rip was at the top seam where the bag folds over. I would recommend the bag, because I am thinking it was a weak spot in my specific bag. I haven't had any problems since.

I put my huge sleeping bag in this thing and you'd think there was nothing but one of those tiny basketballs in it. You can also put your clothes in it if you think you're going to get wet and it keeps them dry no matter what.

Comments about Sea To Summit eVent Compression Dry Sack - 9 x 20:
We have the REI Seista Double bag, and it was nearly impossible to get the 30 degree side into the backpack's sleeping bag compartment.
The first time we used it, I thought the 9x20 was going to be too small, but I just kept stuffing, and got it all in.
After sitting on it and pulling the straps, we ended up squeezing it about 30 percent, which allowed easy packing and created even some extra room in the compartment.
We WILL be getting more of these for the kids bags.
