    Beware. The "waterproof" factor may be the cause, but even with a double knot there was slippage.

    Result, two large heel blisters on well broken in three season old boots. Same insole, same socks, same feet...

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

      Perfect in all conditions. Wore for ten days at over 6000' in the Death Valley area without a knot failure, in heat, snow, and 50mph winds. A highly reliable boot lace; most of the time I just forgot that I was wearing them.
