      This is exellent cord for setting up anchors. Multi-piece anchors frequently require a long cord or piece or webbing to equilize them. This cord is thick enough to be reliably durable and it is very easy to tie knots with it. The diameter is a bit to big for me to feel good about using it with a prussik but for many other appilications it is great.

        I bought these to use as painters for my old town canoe. One on the front, one on the back. Sturdy and tough, something that i know i can rely on.

        I love how strong this cord is. I would feel completely safe using this for anchor extensions or anything where I needed security. As with anything there are trade-offs. This cord is heavy and bulky. It also is difficult to tie but if you know how to use stopper knots and other back up knots you should have no problem. I truly feel that the biners or anchor would fail before this cord would. Tough Stuff!
