Comments about BlueWater 6mm Accessory Cord - Package of 30 Feet:

The relative price might be good, but the construction is way too stiff. I would use it for a hauling line, but you would have to be insane to make a prusik sling out of this stuff. Go for the PMI cord if you want some 6mm nylon rope.

Comments about BlueWater 6mm Accessory Cord - Package of 30 Feet:

Awful cord. It's like a wire and I can get a loop 2 feet high to stand up under its own rigidity.

Can't think of a good use for it

Comments about BlueWater 6mm Accessory Cord - Package of 30 Feet:

Bought this for use in a Glacier Rescue Course and fortunately some friends brought along better cord. Even after continual usage and attempts to "rough up" the sheath it still has never caught on any rope with any knot. Given the durability I'm sure there's a good use for it, just not for Prussiks

Comments about BlueWater 6mm Accessory Cord - Package of 30 Feet:

Decent lightweight cord for use as part of an anchoring system. A bit stiff and slick so I don't advise it for prusiks. The color I have is yellow which has been around for some time, the newer color could have different characteristics.

Comments about BlueWater 6mm Accessory Cord - Package of 30 Feet:

Found this cord hard to manage in a 30 foot section, So I just used the whole thing to reinfoce a rap anchor. Never really liked it.
