The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about MSR Alpine Teapot:
This is the only pot I carry on backpacking trips. Sits nicely on the MSR Pocket Rocket and the PR sits inside for space saving. The handle stays cool and the lid stays on during pouring without being difficult to remove. Perfect for heating water to rehydrate meals and the morning joe. Light weight but durable if a little bulky but it's worth the additional bulk.

Comments about MSR Alpine Teapot:
I almost went with another pot because I was leery of not having a traditional spout, but am very glad I took the chance on this MSR. Despite not having a traditional spout, I was very surprised at how this pours great with excellent drip-free control! The minimalist design makes it a clean packing shape for nesting inside another pot if desired. Very pleased with this purchase. I am using it in the house too!
The little black lid handle stays cool. If using dehydrated pouches, this would be my only pot! Would not want to "cook" food in this teapot though, because the bottom crimped seam would be difficult to clean.
The lid doesn't fit super-tight, but has a "nesting" curve built into the lid and where it joins the pot, so the lid stays put during pouring. I really like this because I don't have to worry about spilling hot liquid trying to pry a snug lid off the pot.
Serves it's purpose very well, nice minimal and functional design! Very pleased. I'm sure this will last for ages, like all my other MSR stainless gear.

Nice piece of cookware! This is the only pot I carry on backpacking trips. Fits on the MSR Pocket Rocket nicely and is the perfect pot for boiling water for the french press and dehydrated meals. The handles and lipped lid make pouring out of this pot a cinch. The Pocket Rocket fits inside with a couple of pairs of socks so you're not wasting space.

Comments about MSR Alpine Teapot:
If I can only bring one pot, I bring this one. Great for water of course, but also works well for boiling noodles and such as you do not need a strainer. Perfect volume for my coffee press, and the graduated measurements are very handy. Awesome pot.

I use this pot more than anything else and it's held up well. Fits right with the other pans when they are along for the ride.
