              Comments about MSR Snowshoe Bag:

This bag is a great way to store your snowshoes at home, and a great way to transport your snowshoes without damaging the inside of your car, etc. The inside pocket is perfect for the 5" extensions that fit the MSR Lightning Ascent snowshoe, the shoulder strap and carry handle are nice touches, and the velcro straps to hold a pair of poles complete the package very nicely. I use this bag to transport and store my 22" Lightning Ascent snowshoes, and it is perfect.

I also own a pair of 30" snowshoes for deep powder and heavy loads, and if MSR made this bag in a larger size I would buy it to transport and store my bigger snowshoes. This bag is perfect for storing and transporting small and medium snowshoes, and if MSR offered a second size for their biggest snowshoes I would give it a 5 star rating.

                Comments about MSR Snowshoe Bag:

I chose this snowshoe bag for it's design - it has more structure than some of the other bags out there. It's made out of a very thick, durable fabric, protecting my car and other belongings from the sharp teeth. The zipper runs around 3 sides of the bag for easy packing with a small pocket on the inside that I put the snow baskets for my trekking poles in.

My only gripe is that it's a very tight squeeze for my Tubbs Women's Wilderness 25" shoes. They have more curve to them than the Tubbs shoes, which is obviously the shoes they were designed to carry. It's no fault of the manufacturer, however if you are looking to use this bag for non-Tubbs shoes, I suggest testing it out in the store to ensure it fits.

Where's the bag for the 30" MSR Snowshoes? Yes, I can buy a different brand, but when you own the best, why settle for anything less?

MSR Ascent 30 does not fit in this bag

                  Comments about MSR Snowshoe Bag:

Pay close attention to the specification length of this bag. It is only 26 inches long, so an MSR Ascent 30 Snowshoe (as an example) will not fit in this bag, even though an MSR product.

                    Comments about MSR Snowshoe Bag:

I bought snow shoes last winter, and they have been knocking around in the basement because I didn't have a good place to hang them, or store them. The snowshoes, the 8" tail extensions, and the baskets for converting my trekking poles, all fit perfectly in the bag. The bag has a shoulder strap and a webbing loop. The loop fits over a clothes hanger, and now my snowshoes are hanging neatly, and out of the way of basement mold and dirt, in my gear closet.
