Comments about Seirus Stormsocks:
I use these socks as a single layer, durable, heat containment sock for skiing... they're kind of like wetsuit material but not as thick. I've tried all kinds of ski socks... thin, thick, synthetic, natural, and in single & multiple layers... these socks beat all other types & combinations I've tried.

Comments about Seirus Stormsocks:
I use these socks when running through the snow. I usually wear a liner sock under them to move the sweat away from my feet and then the Stormsocks over the liner to keep my feet from getting wet from the snow. They are high enough that I can run in 4" - 5" of snow and my feet and ankles stay dry. They are thicker than normal socks so you have to loosen your show strings a bit, but for dry feet, I can handle that.

Comments about Seirus Stormsocks:
After a mile or so the socks broke down at the seams from the stress of movement along the trail. They were warm when they worked.
