Scarpa® T2X Telemark boots retool the already intelligent design of an old favorite for even more backcountry performance and comfort.

  • T2X has touring flex similar to the original T2, but now includes an asymmetric, dual-density cuff for more power and drive in crud and crust
  • A more robust power strap combines with a higher liner cuff for increased power transmission to the ski; dual-density liner is thermo-moldable
  • Features a new walk/ski lever adjustable to 18° or 20°; micro-adjustable buckles provide a precise, comfortable fit
  • Lower boot buckle has been repositioned to take pressure off the instep; now configured with a replaceable scuff guard to prolong the life of boot

    This was my first tele boot after coming from the darkside. I used it to master my tele turns on K2 Superstinx, then also on my new BlackDiamond Havocs with Hammerhead bindings. The boot turns both of these skis with no problem, and tours beautifully, with no blisters. I have a fairly narrow foot and the Scarpa last is perfect for me. After 150+ days on these boots the buckles still work well, although the duckbill is starting to look pretty beat up now, from a number of rock scrambles. An awesome boot for both backcountry and lift skiing.

    good -
    1-they push my newer, fatter ski, very well.
    2-they don't seem too heavy.
    3-rick, boot fitting genius at englewood-co store spent a ton of time adjusting boot, getting me a footbed to ensure comfort.

    1-came from an older,2 buckle, maroon colored t3 and found these down right painful. i should have tried on every boot in the market prior to purchase.

    ugly
    1-englewood store let me buy and leave without doing the heat molding. finding the right rei employee is key to this purchase.
