by fromWorst Sock Purchase I have Made.... I invested in 2 pairs of these thinking they would be comfortable, last me a while, and work with my Chacos. Unfortunately, they started to develop holes and thin spots with less than a week's worth of wear! I was not even using them that hard, doing any major hiking, or giving them any harsh treatment. I only weigh 160 lbs and I keep my toenails trimmed. First, they developed holes at the big toes, then the heels started to wear thin, pretty soon my toes were sticking out and I could feel the sole of my shoes through the heel! I have NEVER had socks wear out this quickly. Not even since I was a kid wearing cheap socks and running outside with them. If I only had one pair then I might think that it was faulty, but both pairs failed in the same ways with VERY little use. After about two weeks I stopped using them because I was afraid they were gonna be destroyed. I have saved them since then, but I probably should have returned them right away.

by fromNot durable I bought these socks for use with thong sandals. The idea is good, but the 4th or 5th time I put them on I noticed a hole 1"-2" behind the little toe on the left sock. That is very disappointing, considering what they cost. I would NOT recommend them.

by fromVery comfortable but not durable These are the most comfortable socks I have worn in my life! The problem is the two pairs I bought both have holes worn in the toes in just a couple of months. It is too bad I don't live close to an REI anymore or I would return these for a refund.

by fromnot the best socks are made of nice soft materal, wicks moisture away. now the bad part, they slouch they will not stay up, it drove me nuts. for the price you would think they would stay in place. if you want a pair, i would suggest getting the ankle length because thats where these end up around your ankle.

by fromWear quickly I was excited to receive my injinji socks on Christmas, so I put them on right away. People thought they were funny looking, but honestly that is one of the reasons I like them. How disappointed I was that after one wash there were threads coming out, especially in the most vulnerable parts, the toes. Another thing, I put these on my christmas wish list because I wasn't willing to buy them myself. They were just too costly. All that being said, I love wearing them. I just wish the were longer lasting and sold at a more reasonable price. I look forward to future Injinji socks that fix these issues.

by fromworn out too soon. these are very comfortable and warm socks. they are great for winter running outside and keeping my feet warm in general. however, i had them for barely more than a month before they started to wear holes in the big toes and the balls of my feet. i still like the concept a lot, so i'll recommend them, but i won't buy any more if this happens on another pair.

by fromGet out your darning wool they are my favorite socks but for their incredible lack of durability, which makes them average instead of perfect. i've actually darned a few pairs of these socks because they wear out easily at the toes and balls of your feet--if you have a small light bulb, like for a taillight, it'll work nicely as a mushroom in the toes. also, if you're close to the top of the size limit, consider getting the next bigger one.

by fromGreat socks! Warm in the desert tho Got the socks for trail running on advice from several articles and books. Socks take a little getting used to, but are great - I'm a believer and have gotten a couple more pair. Only down side is that I find them to be markedly hotter than regular socks when running in the summer - but I do run in the desert.
