Comments about REI Muir Woods Fleece Socks:
Being made of fleece, they are naturally very soft and comfy. They're pretty stylish in that individualistic kind of way, too. However, after just one wash, the stitching in one sock began to come out. I don't wear them much, but I expect this won't be the end of the unraveling. No big deal, just sew them back up, but for what you pay, you would think they'd be stitched a little better. Definitely would not wear them on any kind of hike, or even a walk, as I'd be afraid that they'd fall apart in my shoe. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend these socks for that reason.

Comments about REI Muir Woods Fleece Socks:
I wear them everyday around the house as slippers.
They are very comfortable with sandals for short trips outside.
The only problems I encountered consisted of wearing holes in the bottom sole and the side stitching came out but was easy to stitch up.
The big pluses are comfort and warmth.

Comments about REI Muir Woods Fleece Socks:
I bought these socks to wear under my scuba drysuit and for snowshoe softball. [...] So I wore a pair of socks around yesterday, and the seams are already ripping out in one sock. They keep my feet nice and toasty but now have a big rip on the side seam. Fortunately, I have access to a sewing machine, which I'll probably wind up reinforcing the seams on all 4 pairs that I bought.

Comments about REI Muir Woods Fleece Socks:
Finally my feet were warm! Purchased based on instore recommendation from a member (customer). She said they were the warmest socks she owned and she wore them at home on a cold floor! I skeptically purchased. To my delight, my feet were warm and even at night in bed! Sadly, the side seam unraveled on me too, after only a few wears and not even a wash. Seems this was a problem last year as well as noted by two earlier posts. Returned and exchanged for a new pair, which fell apart even faster! I will give it a third try, as [$]is too much for me to add these to the Landfill.

Comments about REI Muir Woods Fleece Socks:
The Muir Woods sock has been great to throw on after a long day of work/school during the winter. These socks keep my feet toasty and have been great around the house or even when I run out for errands. I've worn them almost everyday for 6 months (I have a few pairs) and they have held up extremely well along with not having lost their power to warm my feet.

Comments about REI Muir Woods Fleece Socks:
I bought a pair for my girlfriend and within hours, the side stitching gave way with a catastrophic failure. They are now on the way to the land fill. Bummer!

Comments about REI Muir Woods Fleece Socks:
I purchased 3 pairs of these socks last year. They are great when I go winter steelhead fishing. They helped keep my feet warm and they are comfortable.
The only down side was that one pair split on a seem.

I now have several pair of these. As soon as I get home from work, I change out of my work shoes and in to these to wear around the house. They wash up well and I've had absolutely no problems. They are very warm.

Comments about REI Muir Woods Fleece Socks:
These socks are warm and very durable, I have had these socks all winter and I am outside on my feet 9 or 10 hours a day, they show no signs of wear at all. [...]
