Comments about Everest Designs Sherpa Earflap Hat:
We live in snowy New England, in the dead of winter it can drop well below zero. This is the only hat that can cut the mustard up here when you have to be out in the minus zero, wind & blowing snow walking the dog or using the snowblower. The fleece lining and wool shell block out all the wind. Great to ski in as well. Don't waste your money on other, inferior products. Everest is the only way to go. We own 3, two for the wife and one for me (I don't have to worry about color matching, just want to be warm ;-)

Comments about Everest Designs Sherpa Earflap Hat:
I love this hat!!! It is my boyfriends, but I kept stealing it from him I loved it so much. It is really comfortable because it is not tight around the forehead and is fleece lined in the inside so there is no itch. I have bought other hats but Everest hats are the best. Don't put in dryer because it will shrink to a baby hat. Oh well... guess I'll go buy another!

Comments about Everest Designs Sherpa Earflap Hat:
I picked this hat because it's wool, and it was the only one I found that was completely fleece lined. I sleep in this hat and truly love it.

Comments about Everest Designs Sherpa Earflap Hat:
One of the best hats I have ever worn. I once wore this hat in the mddle of winter while fishing. It was so cold that when you would reel in the line that it would was frozen. When you would get out of the water that your waders would be frozen over. This hat though kept me VERY warm. The only con to this hat is that it makes your forehead itch.

Comments about Everest Designs Sherpa Earflap Hat:
I purchased this hat in the fall of 2007. I have done winter backpacking trips wearing this hat and must say it works. It keeps your head warm and works at retaining head in the body. If you need to stay warm start with a good hat and this one does a great job.
This is also a well built hat. The fleece lining is of a quality that stands up to high energy activities. The outer wool shell has not frayed

Comments about Everest Designs Sherpa Earflap Hat:
This is hands-down the warmest object to ever come in contact with my head. This hasn't failed to make me sweat in the cold Chicago weather yet.

Comments about Everest Designs Sherpa Earflap Hat:
This is EXACTLY what I wanted, and I couldn't be happier with it!! The charcoal is a nice, neutral color, yet it is totally stylish. I wanted something that would both keep me warm when we walk our three-mile loop in -20 degree weather AND look good doing it. This is it!!! The lightweight liner helps keep the wind from blowing through, and after walking for an hour yesterday in snow, sleet, and freezing rain, my head was still dry when I got home. It seems to run a bit big, but nothing I can't live with. If this is the style you're looking for, you can't go wrong with this hat!

Comments about Everest Designs Sherpa Earflap Hat:
I winter camp and this hat keeps me very warm--even at 13 degrees last year. It's perfect at night by the campfire and is somewhat whimsical--everyone calls it my Heidi Hat. I liked it so much that I bought two more (one in the same color as the first that I bought last year) and a brown. I decided it was worth having an extra in case a friend got cold and for cold days just around home. I can't think of anything that I don't like about it and I used it for a full winter.[...]
