Comments about Arc'Teryx Theta SK Pants - Men's:
These are my favorite ski pants. I think the bibs come up to a good height and they have extra reinforcement in the areas where it is important.
I think it is important for me to comment on sizing. I have no idea what the other people who have reviewed this item are talking about. I have other ArcTeryx pants and they fit normally and some (e.g. stingray pants) are kind of loose. These are tighter for the same size than other pants, and tighter than the ArcTeryx minuteman bibs as well. Furthermore, if you are going to be layering, you might even want to size UP so that you can have your layers underneath the bibs instead of over them, because wearing your insulating layers outside of your bibs pretty much would defeat the purpose of wearing bibs.

Comments about Arc'Teryx Theta SK Pants - Men's:
A great pair of pants. Excellent coverage for powder days. Can't do without the gaiter grommets at the hem. Full range of motion. A through the crotch zipper would be a nice addition. Very durable with reinforcements where needed. You definitely get what you pay for.

Comments about Arc'Teryx Theta SK Pants - Men's:
Arcteryx quality is excellent. These pants cover the full range of conditions -- absolutely stormproof in bad weather and easily ventilated on long skins uphill. They are light enough for extended trips but durable enough to ski in every day. I especially like the fact that the zippers stop before the waist so they don't interfere with the waist belt on your pack. These pants are expensive but they will outlast any others and cover a wider range of conditions than three different pairs. I don't need any other ski pants and I ski everything from the deepest powder to the sunniest groomers.

Comments about Arc'Teryx Theta SK Pants - Men's:
Made with Gore-tex XCR, these ski pants are durable, waterproof and breathable. The full side zips let these pants work for you well into Spring, and the half bib design is perfect for keeping the pants up and the snow out of your back.
Arc'Teryx is legendary for quality items and for good reason. Everything about these pants is well designed.
Gore-Tex XCR is being replaced this year (2007) by Gore-Tex Pro Shell, so now is a good time to find bargains on last year's XCR products.
Note on the size: I would usually wear a large in most brands, but I wear medium in Arc'Teryx.

Comments about Arc'Teryx Theta SK Pants - Men's:
Gore-tex XCR is a really great material for ski pants and jackets. In 2007, XCR is being replaced by Gore-tex Pro Shell, which means XCR products are on sale and can be had for a great price.
After several years of skiing in your basic $50 ski pants, I was tired of feeling damp at the end of the day, tired of my pants faling down just enough to let in cold air, and tired of snow getting shoved up my back and down my pants when I make a spectacular fall.
I like the Theta SK pants more than any other piece of outdoor clothing that I own. No matter the conditions, I feel dry and comfortable. The bib design is perfect for keeping the pants up and the snow and cold air out. The full side zips give ample venting for spring skiing conditions.
Sizing for his brand seems to run a little big. I would wear a large in most other brands but the medium Theta SK fits me better.
ArcTeryx is legendary for high quality garments, and for good reason.

Comments about Arc'Teryx Theta SK Pants - Men's:
The Theta SK pant is the top-of-the-heap ski pant. The Gore-Tex XCR is tough and yet breathable and easy to move in. An absolutely waterproof bib in a sculpted fit. Arc'teryx didn't skimp with this item.
